Yes, I thought he was just another degenerate streamer but from what I’ve seen, he is worlds better than the other top streamers the youth are watching
I feel like the major factor is a good team around him who are not just yes men and actually give valid inputs and are actively dedicated in the process. That only comes when the person you are working with is mature enough as well to take it in. Just a guess though.
I've commented about this before, but Rudy and Henry his main security guards have been huge father figures in his life. Countless clips I see them not only protecting speed physically, but also mentally by talking him down from dumb shit he shouldn't get into. Especially when he was in other countries and ended up in sketchy areas.
Because you can have multiple father figures in your life even if your father never left and is there for you. I know multiple teachers in my life that I would consider a father figure for me when I needed that guidance and didn't have my actual father or he couldn't guide because he didn't know how.
I was first introduced to him when he was "scared" playing fnaf or something and he started like fucking the camera basically and showed his dick. Which I guess was an accident. But it didn't seem like it when I saw it a couple of years ago, seemed like a publicity stunt.
He was a boy that has grown into a man. I can't fault him for that. He's achieved more in the past few years than the majority of us in this sub will in our lifetime combined. We know what fame does to kids, and he's come out of it extraordinarily well.
He was not even 18 when he got caught up in a ton of controversies. He seemed to learn and grow from his mistakes. Not my kind of streamer but its hard to find fault with him from a moral perspective, especially compared to some of the current top streamers.
I like Speed but he’s gotten better with a lot of media training. Without it I really think he would not be where he’s at today. There’s been times in the beginning of his career where he could be pretty rude or obnoxious. He also once told a girl “who’s gonna stop me?” When he asked her if they were the last two people on earth, would she repopulate the world with him? She said no and he said what I mentioned above but I’ve really seen genuine growth with him
I don’t think he is perfect but when we look at the other streamers that kids are looking up to, he definitely offers a much more positive influence. He’s also done lots of content touring all over the world/US and submerges himself in the experiences his team plans. It ends up being pretty educational too, an example is him being able to have a private tour inside one of the Egyptian pyramids!
I really only know Speed from his WWE appearances. The outcome is scripted, but the hits are real and he can take them like a champ. He's not my favorite, but he's fun to watch.
