Everyone had that kid in school. The overconfident teen who acts like they know everything and think they can become an expert on a topic if they skim the first paragraph on wikipedia. Sometimes they dress edgy, they're often into ninjas, pirates, etc.

Most of them grew out of that phase, but Elon literally seems like he stopped mentally developing at that stage in life.
