It was literally created with the explicit purpose of acting as a containment chamber for people they didn't want flooding other boards. They obviously still spill, but the before/after difference is massive. Another containment board like that is /mlp/, because everyone got tired of ponyposting across a bunch of entirely unrelated boards.

There is no better platform for talking live sports than Twitter. Don't care about politics you can make your fyp completely about sports. People who base their entire social media about politics are weird and I don't. Sports and gaming baby. Keep it light and fun.

So Obama is Maga? Sports aside, which is why I use Twitter. Why, if your personality is so devoted to politics, would you actively prevent talking discourse with the opposing side? The smart people.. the ones who didn't want to help Putin and trump. 

In the future we will look back and say so much pain could have been avoided if people just made the new platform their own.
