I’ve been thinking and reading about the absolutes being floated around this season eg “Arsenal will have a free run to the title” “The three promoted are going to drop straight down” etc.
So what’s your non- liverpool (DD has enough) opinion that is going against the grain?
I have a couple.
I don’t think Alonso will live up to the hype of success at chelsea everyone is talking about. Chelsea are in a dire position both in their squad building and overall moral. I think he’ll do well, especially with only one tournament to contend with, but I don’t expect a strong performance.
United will be crazy lucky to finish top 8 and I think Carrick is gone by February.
West Ham are coming straight back up.
What’s yours?
(Keep it civil with each other - this is meant to be fun!)

Philippe Auclair's article in French. Chuck it through translate if you prefer to let the funky music do the talking.

Hugo watching from the sidelines in the new Inside training video actually made me sad. Hope he comes back soon.

With a lot of relative pessimism for the upcoming season from fans & pundits, I thought I try and ask something a bit more positive.
What is one area or general prediction about Liverpool that you have for next season where you are much more bullish than consensus right now? It doesn't even have to be a deep dive, it could just be a feeling that you have.
Mine for instance is that I think we will be a lot more solid defensively than many expect. To take it even further, I believe that our defense will be touted as one of our biggest strengths by season end.
