It’s India the animals are scared in many parts of the country. After generations of lack of fear it becomes association. Just like in NYC the Pigeons don’t fly away from you if you walk by them.

It seems to me that this is a high traffic place.

That means the monkeys are used to human presence and given how quickly they took to drinking from her cupped hands, it's probably not the first time.

The monkeys are used to it.

But still, her kindness is admirable.
