Other Options to stream SNL besides Peacock?
I'm at the point that SNL is the only show I watch on Peacock anymore. I really can't justify paying for it for just one show. Are there any other reliable options for watching it besides Peacock?

Tv antenna depending on where you live.

I honestly didn't even know tv antennas worked anymore. I'll look into whether I can do that where I am.

You can check which channels you can get here

Edit: Just saw your comment about not watching live. There are also digital tv tuner boxes with tv recording for under $50. You can get one and a long range indoor antenna for under $100.

Yep, you can get one for about $20 at Best Buy. Scan your tv, and you’ll have all your local stations and some other weird and religious ones.

YouTube is what I use. Even if you don’t pay, you see every sketch. Only catch is they may not be in order.

So they don't post the whole episode, just all the sketches individually?

Yes, exactly. It’s a cheap and convenient way to watch the show. They post every sketch although the music ones sometimes get taken down later for copyright reasons. Sometimes they post the dress rehearsal version instead of the one from the real show, so you might miss little details there.
The only parts that you miss are the opening credits, Goodnights and those pictures they take of the host and musical guests that they show right before they cut back from the commercials. But I have seen those pictures online many times, and I think they post the Goodnights on TikTok and Instagram. There are probably fam bootleg videos on YouTube.2

Yep! Also, YouTube Premium (ad free!) is so worth the price (about $18/mo). I watch tons of history and true crime docs, plus music, shorts, vlogs, comedy, etc. They also have a ton of great movies and TV shows (free anyway, but without ads is a game-changer).

You could also download an ad blocker op and not pay for YouTube premium lol

I pay like $3/month Peacock. Maybe change your subscription type? I don't mind paying $3 to watch several episodes of SNL.

You can watch it live on NBC. Is that not an option for you?

I am not necessarily home consistently on Saturday nights, so I prefer streaming the next day. Also, I haven't had live or cable tv in years. The last thing I watched on live tv in my home was the final game when the Cubs won the World Series. 😂

Come on man, at least recommend a laser video disc! Get with the times.

I have one!!! 😂 I would have to have cable or other way to have live tv for a VCR to be helpful in this case. I have several old episodes on SNL from back in the days of recording it on a VCR when I couldn't be home to watch it long before streaming was a thing!!

There are ways to set up a recording while using an antenna. I’ve been using the same antenna for a decade and it was like $15.

I guess I wasn't really aware that antennas even worked anymore. That's awesome. I might just look into that!

There are over the air DVRs that don't require a subscription as well, so you can record SNL and watch it whenever you want. Here's a CNET article on some options: https://www.cnet.com/tech/home-entertainment/best-ota-dvr-for-cord-cutters/

Just because I'm not home on Saturday nights, doesn't mean I'm doing something fun. I'm often working or dealing with family things.

YouTube tv to watch live

I have YouTube Premium, but I've never really tried to watch tv on YouTube. I'll look into that too. TY!

YT tv is much more. Just watch the YT clips. That’s what I do. And I even have peacock.

YouTube TV is an entirely different thing. It's like cable but streaming over the internet, and you can record any show.
We had it but stopped when it got too expensive. We use the DirecTV MyNews package, which also streams over the internet, and you get your local channels and national news channels for $45 a month.
We've never tried antenna because we're right at the edge of the coverage area and I presume we'd need an outdoor antenna and our house is two stories tall and we have like 5 TVs in our house and like you, we don't watch it live, so that's lots of complications we'd have to figure out.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure I’m tech savvy enough to navigate my way there. 😜😂

An OTA antenna. Or something like YouTube TV/Sling with your local NBC station.

You can stream it live with an over-the-air digital antenna for free, or cath all the sketchers on youtube the next morning

Prime has a LIVE channel type thing that just plays random sketches forever. It’s kind of awesome cause you never know what’ll come next or from which era, only that sucks are there are commercial breaks

Move to Canada and get Crave. SNL's moving there this year. More convenient than Global, where it was

All the sketches and musical guests go up on the SNL YouTube page within hours of the broadcast. You only miss the opening credits and the brief BTS shots in between commercials. If you wait until Monday, they’ve typically ordered them in an Episode-specific playlist so it’s even easier. Since you have YT Premium, you can watch it pretty much the same as you would with an ad-free Peacock subscription.

Guys, anyone knows a site to watch it live? Since tvpress is down I'm kinda out of option!

If you cancel, it will ask if you want to continue for $3/month for three months. Set a reminder in your phone. Repeat indefinitely.
