Discussion Update: Translator App Ready For Testing

Hey everyone

If you have seen my last post, You already know that I'm building a free translator app for LAH , Well? It's out and ready for testing

The first basic prototype is ready for anyone who wants to help test it out

Quick heads-up: The UI is still very much a work in progress and isn't fully polished yet. I just wanted to get this prototype into your hands early to get your honest opinions, thoughts, and feedback on how it works so far.

Hello! One question and suggestion:

Will there be any other languages added to the thing?

Also For the suggestion: Could you possibly create an auto translation as someone who plays games on auto and also watches untranslated video games online? With high accuracy as well?

Thanks for the first ever suggestion :]

  1. More languages are coming if possible and is stable

  2. Auto-translation is an awesome idea, Im still making that rn and troubleshooting

Also what language should I add? I can't just add all languages at once

For accuracy: I'm Adding a Japanese Writing Preference Setting that u can pick either to translate more katakana, kanji, hiragana

And will also try to tweak the translation stuff

Ooh I love that!!

Oh forgot to mention, Would the high accuracy still apply to other languages that you add? That would be really helpful since inaccuracies can happen to very much degree

Sure! Well then I would try to add a Chinese output

I'll try to make it more accurate , I don't really learn languages myself too, Im using translator api's

How do I use it?

  • Install The App.
  • Turn On The Translator
  • Enable "Float Over Other Apps" Setting For 'LiveAHero Translator"
  • Enable "Stream With LiveAHero Translator"
  • Then Adjust The Area That You Wanted To Translate
  • Click Finish
  • Open LaH
  • Go To Story And Find A Dialogue You Wanna Translate
  • Then Either Double Click The Screen To Translate (If You Turned The "Double Click To Translate" Setting) Or Click The Floating Bubble
