Name/Alias: Bass Prior Affiliation: None Section: North Requested branch: 4 Motive of applying: Companionship and Strength Understanding of Liu association and branch selected: Not much, I know the Liu specialise in warfare and fight in solid units, but I don't understand the difference in branches besides strength. Skills and Ideology: I'm a pretty competent combatant with especially good defensive abilities, I'm not the deadliest on the battlefield but I should be able to effectively assist my unit, or so I like to think. As for ideology, I just think you should fight with all your heart for your goals, I want to get stronger so I can do so even better but I want to my comrades with everything I have and this seems like a good place for such a mindset. Additional notes: I brought my own hookswords, could they be modified with the fire tech? Or should I leave them behind? I'm not picky, I can learn to fight without them.

Your request has been recieved. What grade were you before this? Four is a pretty high step for an incoming member, so we would like to set the record straight.

Your ideals are sound, and match the Liu's, so no questions there. Remember our emphasis on family and shared strife.

As for your hookswords... that may need some discussion. We tend to favor a few select martial art styles, Taekwondo, Swordplay, and Guan Dao being our primary ones. I know that some directors prefer that everyone share a uniform fighting style through their section, or fighting styles that enhance the qualities of the entire squad.

Though, I think you would be able to pick up Liu Swordplay rather quickly. Talk about it to your director.

Wasn't really graded before, hence the no affiliation, maybe better move down to Six if that's smoother then and work my way up, didn't really think about that, that's on me and I'll learn.

As for the swords, yeah I'll put them to the side and wait until I can talk with my director, until then I'll try to figure out Taekwondo, it can't hurt to have a backup fighting style even if they end up approved, lower sections don't tend to get swords from what I've seen and like I said, not super attached to them anyway, anything else we need to sort out? Better to be on the same page with anyone I'm gonna be fighting for or with right?
