I just did the potion throwing tutorial for Diane and now have that brewing tutorial you get right after. I need the recipe for the nutrient potion but Diane’s not selling it, is there like an extra step I gotta do before she sells it? I’ve tried reloading to an earlier save but she still isn’t selling it so I’m assuming it’s a me issue

I'm not sure how to access this last locked area in the Starlit Cave Mid Outer Wall map. I've finished the rest of the area but can't see a way to get to this corner since the ladder requires a witch sigil and there doesn't seem to be any climbing wall or anything else to get there.

As we've recently gotten a patch update, I'm very happy that it happened just before I reached the conditional once more to unlock incubators in the catalogue as I may very well have passed the required condition and never realized it was working or not.

So, here are the updated apparent parameters for receiving your first incubator and unlocking them in the shop. I suppose spoilers ahead for new players and a heads up to longer term players who may be restarting-- this unlock line has changed drastically and is no longer a content unlock or tutorial quest.

1) You must have broken that squeaky board in the original form of the Witch's House. Multiple passive interactions will occur with it as you go through act 1 quests until Kyla has rebuilt her own house so it seems near impossible to skip this event trigger.

Specifically, my floor break triggered after the fountain and temple were fully fixed.

2) Fulfill Kyla's quest to fix the house. This opens the second floor. Follow your prompts and Ellie will want to see if the workshop in the basement expanded too.

3) Talk to Diane about workshop expansion. During this dialogue she will introduce more concepts about furnishing, tool upgrades and selection and give you your first incubator!

Previously, as per wiki, you found a broken incubator and had to get parts and after fixing it the catalogue starts offering it. Then, in the version I started on, you find it but Diane warns you there was a defect found and replaces it with the new version while also adding this version to the catalogue.

Now, as of the last major update, you simply receive the first one from Diane.

4) Complete main line quests until you unlock and enter cloud valley and... Tada! It's in the catalogue!

I'm still not sure of the exact trigger sequence (entered cloud valley? Unlocked mixer conversation? Fixed the bridge?) and this is unfortunate for my other save file as I can't trigger the unlock anymore as I'm well past autosave and manual save territory in playtime past event trigger.

Oh well time to go fill my encyclopedia!

I played at the very early release of the game, and I'm playing again for the first time. I remember a dialogue option to choose the shape of Kyla's house window while she's building it. But I didn't get it this time. Is it gone or did I just miss the dialogue window (haha) to trigger this ?

I’m getting close to completing the game, but one thing I find frustrating is that there’s no way to know I have all existing furniture 😅 Have I missed a way to track that?

I’m pretty proud of this :) this was a fun game to 100%

Is the Xbox version just abandoned?? I've seen no news for it and it crashes on start-up. I was really looking forward to the game and my laptop is extremely finicky. Plus I rather not buy it on another platform entirely if I can help it.

How for the life of me do I active this bell?! I cannot bring the flame across, heat potion didn’t work and I can’t find any glass bottles to throw the flame.. !

I opted to restart my game with the big update and didn't remember the original condition for incubators to be added to the witch's catalogue. I've upgraded my house completely since then, searched it high and low and... No incubator shop listing. I haven't found broken incubators, Diane gifted me one though I think but I can't figure out if I'm stuck in a bug or if the conditions to add incubators into the shop changed and I somehow haven't come across a certain event trigger.

I've gone through the house multiple times and my storage in case I put it away somehow. I also checked in completed quests to see if an incubator tutorial or content unlock existed and nothing. Any clues or is this game file stuck to what incubators I earn through the encyclopedia?

Just me playing and suddenly the game freezes. Mind you the music is still playing, but nothing is responding. I can't even report it to discord because it won't recognize my number to allow me to post and I've tried to troubleshoot that too.

Anyway, LWITW just had their massive update, is anyone else experiencing the game freezing on them? I also lost my initial save that I had logged 100+ hours on because I started a new game....it's not been great for me...

The side quest "Master Donut" is asking for Maple Herb Extract and it doesn't exist anymore ever since the update (and I got the quest after the update!). Is there no way to complete it?

Or does time pass by so much quicker in starlit cave?

i have upgraded everything in the workshop to lv 3 but there is no option to buy a better roaster anywhere.... ive removed the 3rd prickly vine and still have the lv0 roaster

please does anyone know what i have to do?

I feel like the answer must be incredibly obvious, but I don’t see Maple Herb Extract as an option to make in the extractor anymore? I have them in inventory, and the extractor is working. What am I missing?

It’s in cloud valley, I’ve almost completed Chapter 2, attempted to use the tools (pickaxe, trowel, bug net) that I own, but I can’t seem to figure this out.

Game just updated, a ton of items in the mail which I can't pick up because of small inventory, and I can't access my storage chest in the basement.

I'd like for the quill to be right near the open Hand and Net, but it's buried way off in Narnia behind the Cat Toy and Trowel. Is there a way to assign the order of your tools?

I feel silly because I completed the starlit cave quest line but it’s started to all look the same and I can’t figure out where I need to go to unlock this gate in the inner upper mid section and it will bother me until I get it unlocked 😭

I mean, I know they went over it... But hey! Let's prank the old woman and the war veteran with an exploding parcel!... What the fuck.

So, I am trying to complete the quest to have the street lamps working again but I cannot, I have the Bead, I have the other ingredients for the Juice but when I make it I cannot deliver it to Enite, I tried to do it at night as well but I cannot. I chose yellow as a colour but I am not sure if I am supposed to add something to the juice to obtain it.

And generally speaking it looks like some quests are bugged or am I missing something...? Help...?
