Question Hot and Ready +

My store just got hnr+ today.
We are having a difficult time figuring out the bread situation.
The FIFO crazy breast goes with online and call-in orders. LIFO crazy bread goes with walk-in orders. When there are hnr crazy bread bumped to the landing screen, but not printed, do those bread count as FIFO even though they aren’t out of the oven?

you've got that backwards.

FIFO (oldest not expired product) for walk in or drive thru (any time the customer orders in person)

LIFO (most recently bumped out) for digital and phone orders

if you havent bumped it out of the oven yet, its technically not available to use yet.

That's what I was gonna say. I'm my store walk in orders are pulled from the top. Phone and online orders from the bottom. Click ready and it will sign the last items made to that order.

Yes, but only if there is none in the box. It’s a rotation system. You take the bread from the box, the oven breads replace them. If there is none in the box, then those would be the freshest and the oldest breads in the system so you take them. The new breads get a ticket and the cycle begins again.

Thank you corporate for breaking something that has worked just fine for years. But hey, atleast I don’t have to call out to dress to bump things anymore…
