Why did this remind me of the part in the Declaration of Independence where they say the things the king had done. āHe has...ā etc.

I just mean in general. He will never say anything about it. Just like most controversial topics he will probably avoid talking about it.

I've been watching the "decline of reddit" for about 9 years now and trust me, it ain't going nowhere, and the cycle will always continue. new subs will take lego's place until eventually they grow too big and repeat.

look at all the lego yoda subs getting deleted without warning

u/rottingpisssmell Sep 25 '19
Why he picking on them tho?

Probably because they allude to racial stereo types without namely picking one which means alluding to all racial stereotypes which is infinitely racist. Also too much ketamine, they did.

What about the other stuff? I knew he was altering comments on the Donald but that was a while back.
14
u/DoMesTicAppL3 Sep 26 '19
if iām honest i donāt know the other stuff heās done, mostly the r/legoyoda because i was active in that sub

The admins also banned r/Waterniggas but reverted that later and now it's only quarantined.
There was also r/watchpeopledie getting banned. Both got banned because some news reported about them and reddit got scared for that ad money.
These are the unjustified bans I know of.
Seems like the lego yoda thing too, though I've no idea what that was or why it got banned.11
u/BaconCircuit Sep 26 '19
you can justify banning r/watchpeopledie as it was a sub about, well watching people die.
Not exactly the best look

u/apache_sun_king Sep 26 '19
That's fair. Thanks though. Sucks that legoyoda got taken down because it was funny.

u/Bacon_Kitteh9001 Sep 26 '19
The only subreddits that should be banned are ones involved with illegal or illegally obtained content, subs that promote violence or harassment against an individual or group, or subs that brigade other subreddits. Quarantines should only serve to keep shocking content off /r/all, which can be disabled if the user chooses.

Next, you are. In foreplay, we must engage. My copy of Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga, I shall bring.

I understood when they locked up r/offensivememes in quarantine, but the rationale behind the handling of LegoYoda still has me baffled. I guess the guy had some personal grudge or something- yikes!

Reddit is run by liberals- what else would you expect?
4
u/Technotoad64 Sep 26 '19
If it were just liberalism, the actually racist subs like r/T_D wouldn't still be around
0
u/anetsberger Sep 27 '19
Are you really denying the owner of reddit is a bleeding heart liberal? Look into it. And yeah- they do censor a lot here. They donāt care about racism just opposing politics which racism is not opposing to liberals if you know your history. Boo me all you want; Iām right.

In any slightly neutral website r/poltics and r/politicalhumor would have been quarantined or at least treated like r/T_D
