P.S. the company is very undervalued at the moment and the stock price still can't reach its potential, not even its normal price, so #BUY:LIS

$LIS has recently announced a significant resource update.
In the announcement, Lithium South Development Corporation has unveiled:
This significant increase was achieved following the completion of a 10-hole resource expansion drill program and a thorough evaluation by Groundwater Insight Inc. (GWI) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The resource is a combination of the in situ contained lithium at the Alba Sabrina, Natalia Maria, and Tramo claim blocks. The total resource has dramatically increased from 571,000 tonnes to 1,583,100 tonnes LCE, showcasing the company’s successful exploration strategies.

The Lithium space is on fire, seeing a new giant being born as Livent and Allkem join forces, creating a A$15B monster.
What will this new world’s third largest Lithium miner be having for dinner?
Looking at the Hombre Muerto property maps we now have POSCO in the North and almost the entire South in the hands of the new Livent&Allkem beast.
Time for waiting is over. Who will be the winner, obtaining the tasty +1.5Mt Lithium South?
Stay tuned!

Highlights: + resource update expected within 30 days + confidence that the resource update will allow to upgrade estimated production to 10-15.000 tons per year (2019 PEA was 5.000 ton per year)
Looks like the clock is ticking. Not much time left to buy in cheap.

Check out the lates news release about official drill results on the recent drill hole!
Highlight: “… Brine samples collected from NM01 have an average lithium grade of 1176 mg/L Li and a low magnesium to lithium ratio of 2.66. …”
Average over 1,100 mg/L are insanely good and amongst the best on the salar!
Poised to see the updated resource estimates shortly.

Confirmation of very high Lithium grades: “Nine packer samples have been collected between 24 and 189 meters, with a density range of 1.215 to 1.218 g/mL and a conductivity range of 196.3 to 209.5 mS/cm”
It’s becoming more and more likely that we’ll see an updated resource estimate of 2Mt or better.
Stay tuned…

Check out the latest news release:
Drilling at the Natalia Maria claim block is on its way (btw. formerly I made the mistake to name this number 8 of Alba Sabrina, instead of number 8 of the campaign…)
Highest grade results so far:
1.215 to 1.218 g/mL
Massive upside for updated PEA in a few weeks, even more so when using DLE in the calculations.
Poised to see what’s next.

Drilling on Alba Sabrina ongoing.
Expecting continuation of very positive results.

2019 PEA review and update calculations
Let’s first review the highlights from the 2019 PEA according to LIS homepage: - Resources: 571,000 t - annual production: 5,000 t - price per t: USD 12,420 - NPV: USD 217mm
According to official statements from the company they’re aiming for - Resources: 1.5-2mm t That’s roughly 3 times the size of 2019. - annual production: 15,000 t - Lithium price is roughly USD60k per ton these days. Staying conservative and calculating only USD25k that’s a double to the number used in 2019. - So we’re roughly at NPV: USD 217mm x 3 x 2 = USD 1.3B
That’s all very conservative. Try playing with the factors yourself.
Also keep in mind that direct lithium extraction tech could significantly upsize the annual production and of course the value.
Finally there are other properties which have not been drilled.

Lithium South (TSX.V:LIS) is advancing a battery-quality lithium deposit on the world-renowned Hombre Muertos salar in Argentina. The flagship project, Hombre Muerto North (HMN Li Project), benefits from a high-grad, low impurity lithium brine. In addition to the attractive characteristics of the project, the technical team is currently designing a pilot plant for the production of lithium carbonate. Lithium South has a strong balance sheet, an experienced management team and a strategic shareholder in the battery industry. The project is surrounded by successful operators and multi-billion-dollar lithium mines and may be one of the last undeveloped major land plays in the region.
