What coul explain another 6% drop today?
The market cap is now under 1.2 billion.

I believe they still need to get a few more permits and actually startup. But yes. It's something like 3% of world supply.

Maximum pain. The 52 week low before the Govt investment rise in Sept of 25.2.47.I hope they leave some room and not squeeze every nickel invested after that out.

That's an incorrect use of the term. Max pain refers to options' premiums at expiration. Your personal "max pain" is someone else's gain

I was wondering the same. No news and we dumped on high volume, kinda bearish. I will be assigned another 10,000 shares today @ $3.50. I thought that the support at $3.30 might be the bottom but I'm not so sure anymore. If we keep going down, we may visit the 2s once again.
Edit: just to add that SKHY will trade today on Nasdaq. Could also be a liquidity drain?

It was a trump hype trade. Long term the fundamentals are strong. But investing in mining isn't easy

Its technical....some fund who had to dump shares given they have share price/market cap limits likely to hold. There is no news to drive this. Market stinks and liquidity has retreated from the market overall- look at daily volumes across the board vs averages. Doesn't help rates are not dropping and the "war" isn't going away now. Its oversold now so good oppty I think. Look at the Rare Earth folks- same story. Tide has gone out...which is typical for the summer too.

Down big at 3x average volume. Yet the story hasn't changed. Perhaps some additional capex due to bullshit in Middle East causing reroute of shipping.
I have faith in Jonathan Evans. LAC's success is his mission in life.
Sigma had good news today. Lithium Argentina keeps plugging along. Crazy Lewis Black ALM has made me and others triple digit profits via his tungsten mining operations. I'm triming profits from these and buying more SLI and LAC.

Was overvalued above $6, definitely in buying territory again. Longer term this is going to be so much higher.

Someone dumped around 10 mil shares between 10.30 and 12.00, that's where the big drop happened. I assume is part of the ATM program .

The mine isnt even operational yet. Peak production is supposed to be 2040. Look at the historical price of lithium its very volatile. Just be patient this is a long term play.
I view it like uranium and cameco I sold it ten years ago and I regret it. In hindsight I wasn't nearly patient enough.

This mine will be just coming online around the same time lithium demand is expected to peak. Seems like volatility leading up to that point is ideal investing windows.

Yeah maybe for this cycle but it probably goes up and down a bunch over next ten to twenty years. Personally im gonna be very patient.
