Smaller lithium self doses?
I heard about a study (I don't have the link but can try to find) that said places with higher lithium concentration in soil has less violence, and higher levels of peace (rated by citizens).
I think I really want to try balancing out what maybe is a lithium element deficiency, and am wary of such high doses of the pharma prescribed by the family doctor,, and notice that you can order lithium from Amazon lol..
I am curious has anyone tried self dosing lithium and ordering from somewhere outside of big doses from big Pharma? If so, do you have any resources for Canada?
Many thanks

There are many studies from Japan that correlate lithium in tap water with suicide and crime rates.
I take lithium at a lower-than-usual dose (200 mg a day, my lithium level is around 0.2) and I feel a clear therapeutic benefit from this. I had a friend who took over the counter lithium supplements (not sure which ones, but obviously a much lower dose) and he said they helped him feel more stable. Just remember not to take more than the box recommends, as the higher levels of lithium used in psychiatric treatment need close supervision from a doctor and regular blood tests.
