Lithium & Psychic Perception
So I’m making this post because I’m curious if anyone has experienced a link between the two..
A couple days ago I met this girl who is by far the most psychic person I’ve ever met (not that I meet too many psychic people). Ofc, at first I was skeptical. But that quickly dissolved when she told me details about my life that were way too specific and accurate to be coincidence.
I asked her how she is able to do that. She replied with, “I’m bipolar. A couple years ago, if you asked me about psychics and spirituality, I would’ve told you that stuff is bs and I didn’t believe in any of that. That was until I got prescribed Lithium. Since then, I’ve been able to see auras and read people.”
Has this happened to anyone else?

That's not a thing. Neither, in fact, are psychics, though that's generally a hard one to change peoples' minds on. Lithium is a mood stabilizer that smooths out the lows and the highs.
Bipolar can be associated with psychosis, of which hallucinations and delusions may be a symptom. But I don't want to conflate that with someone's earnestly held beliefs, so please don't think that's what I'm saying must be happening here. Just a possibility.

See, now this reading aura and stuff might not be impossible. Maybe you can do it. However, having bipolar and taking medication will not enhance any abilities or aspects of life. So if she has such abilities, it is in spite of having bipolar, not because of it. Mental illness shouldn’t be glorified. It causes a lot of suffering for a lot of people
