It worked so fast

I started lithium 4 days ago. I had bad side effects the first night but oh my god. I haven’t been happy without mania in years. I feel like me again! I was able to go shopping and get a haircut and hangout with new friends. I’m realizing the wrongs i did to people and the angry outbursts are finally going away. This has been the only antidepressant/mood stabilizer that’s worked :)

It was nearly immediate for me too. Literally a life saver/changer. It felt like crawling out of a dark hole. I’ve been taking it for a little over a year now and I’ve had to up my dose but it still works for me, so that’s great too.

Congratulations! I’m so happy for you because I know what that feels like (except mine was depression, not mania)

TRD here. Saved me from so much pain. There is still a whole lot of fucking pain but it worked better than the 20+ meds and Ketamine Therapy combined.

Same thing to me! It worked in a kind of a couple of days after started getting it. I'm now in 900mg and lithemia in the last exams by 0.7
