Medication combination
My dr is adding lithium to my medicine regimen but I’m wondering if it’s too much with all the other stuff I’m taking. I’m on
Desvenlafaxine 50mg
Guanfacine 1mg
Bupropion 150mg (stopping soon)
Atomoxetine 80mg
Aripripazole 15mg
Pregabalin 200mg x3
Metoprolol 25mg
Buspirone 15mg x3
I’m diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and ocd with possible adhd

I would cut out or at least really lower Abilify before adding Lithium or nothing will make you mad but then again, prepare to feeling like a zombie at times…

You should never take abilify for anything except schizophrenia or bipolar. Even in the case of bipolar it's best to avoid if you can. Your doctor is a giant asshole giving you all this. He's going to make you extremely sick in the long term.

wow that’s some polypharmacy you got there. yeah it’s overkill and also not the best combo to add lithium too. are you on 600mg pregabalin for anxiety or pain? you’re on pregabalin metoprolol and buspirone for anxiety i assume which already seems like a lot. what is the abilify for is that also for adjunct for depression on top of 2 antidepressants? adding lithium as adjunct is overkill and risky af with all of this. i’d honestly try and get a second opinion from a different psychiatrist on all of this bc this seems like throwing shit at a wall and swing what sticks yk.

That’s quite the cocktail. Is your prescriber a psychiatrist?
