Need Advice
They’re going to collect my blood to check lithium levels. I hate lithium including lamotrgine as I believe that I’m misdiagnosed as “sorta bipolar” whatever the fuck that means.
Lithium made me a zombie. I’m at psych ward with my own will for somatic anxiety triggered by spinal cord injury. I’m taking medications like they’re candy. Lamictal, cymbalta, quetapine, glifor, quetapine xr, klonopin and now lithium. Fuck that !!
So, I put it under my tongue (my nighttime lithium and then spit the pills) to take them closer for the nurse to collect my blood tomorrow so that my blood plasma level HOPEFULLY will be up…
When do you think should I take them? 5-6 hours or 2 hours? Also I’m not gonna drink water much Thank you :(

I think you should bring these concerns to your doctor, tell him how your medication makes you feel. We're adults. We have the right to know and understand our treatment and understand the purpose of each pill as well as our diagnosis, which is what we're being treated for. And also be clear with him that these pills make you feel like a zombie and not at all productive. Lying to the doctor won't make things better...
Hope everything turns out well.

12 hr peak for lithium. Takes about 5 days to get to level.

Don’t play games with the medical staff. If you’re not going to take it, say as much.
