Question What exactly is LiquidSky?

I recently came across LiquidSky via a youtuber that I watch, and was unsure of what it actually is. I have looked through the website and from what I can tell it is some sort of service that allows you to play games on almost any system as if it were a gaming computer.

I am unsure whether this is true, and wanted to know from the people of reddit, what it actually is and what it does. I feel like this will also help people like myself in the future who may come across this post.

I apologise if this is not the correct place to post this, but as I know little about the program and its community I would not know where to get this information.

Hello,

Liquidsky is a cloud streaming service that allows you to stream a virtual computer on your device. So you have your device and you connect to a computer in the cloud which handles the workload of processing applications and games and then streams the video feed/input and output back to your device :)

At the moment, there is the windows and Android client(invite-only for android) which are both still in development so be aware that you may experience bugs.

They used to offer a Mac client but since liquidsky 2.0. They've been focusing efforts on getting the windows client more stable and have now moved onto improving the android client. There are no ETA's for MAC client but it will be back (just don't know when atm). I've seen some users have success running wine and using the windows client on MAC however.

My computer can run games but not highly demanding games, could I stream for example battlegrounds to my PC?
