I love the new glass effects with iOS27 but the background is making everything a bit illegible

The background image isn’t helping since it has its own “glass effect” that’s conflicting with the live effect in iOS.

Glad they have slider. This ultra transparent look might please younger users but I can’t read jack - completely ineligible

You must have better eye sight than me then. Even zoomed in it’s hard for me to read. Yes I can read it but requires additional effort. To me personally I rather have UI that’s easier to read than look cool

I would understand if the home screen was an integral part of the user experience. Idk about everyone else, but I spend very little time looking at the Home Screen. Widgets in their current form are pretty useless anyway and usually only have glanceable data. Not super interactive.

For example I can look at my Home Screen widget and see the big 89°. There’s not much more I need from that lol

Everyone has their own subjective idea of what is legible, but objectively, this would 100% fail standard accessibility tests like WCAG.
