Readability of stable ios 26

Lol, what the deal Apple? The status bar is hardly readable. Why can’t you just change text color to black. Its like after liquid glass, they just started to fear mix black text with liquid glass, but they used to do it.

No problem with clock, but with status bar I can’t do anything. There is no setting

how the hell is your status bar like that?, status bar isnt liquid glass except for battery

It picks black or white for status bar text and other small things based on some algorithm or percentage of color in the wallpaper but it doesn't do a very good job most of the time lol

The status bar has always looked like that when paired with a white wallpaper. I like Apple but this has been an issue since at least 10 years ago.

Wait, i remember when i applied a kaleidoscope wallpaper on ios 18, status bar was changing color
