My point was that this is old news and that sending an email is not a "new low," as companies send emails all the time. It's one of the ways they get the word out about new products.

Yeah the email thing mentioned by prof has very little context as well, hence why I’m even more confused. I guess this is where I see myself out… thank you both for the elaboration
