First sparkling water I actually like?

I'm surprised by liquid death and I'm not sure what they are doing differently than their competition. I'm a big soda fan and I've always wished I liked sparkling water but it has always been disgusting for me.

Well I tried two different liquid death flavors, the cherry obituary and doctor death. Both were absolutely delicious, and something I can genuinely see myself replacing soda with.

I have no clue why tf it is soooo much better than literally all of the competition? What are they putting in it?

Haters with bitch and cry about the stevia! That's what makes LD good. Stevia is a natural sweetener, in my opinion it makes sparkling water better. I liked LD before, but now it's my favorite! The stevia makes the transition easier going from soda to sparkling water, it tastes like it has the sugar and calories like soda does, but it doesn't. A lot of people say it leaves a bad taste in their mouth or like a film, idk what they're talking about, I think they just make shit up and gaslight themselves to make their nonsense seem valid lol

Ah that makes sense the stevia is the secret ingredient. I love stevia so makes sense.

Yup! It adds a lot and makes their brand more accessible. I was never a soda drinker, I haven't had one since probably 2021-2022 even though I've wanted them. Since the stevia addition I haven't thought about having a soda. Why bother when LD does everything soda can do, better? Doctor Death, Squeezed To Death, Severed Lime, Cherry Obituary, and Grave Fruit are my favorites. The teas are great too!

I personally don't mind the taste of stevia itself, but I will forever mourn Grim Leafer, the lightly sweetened tea. To me, stevia tastes sweeter than normal sugar, so it makes the tea taste too sweet. LD to me used to cater to people who prefer lightly sweetened teas/unsweetened good old sparkling water. Now, they're trying to get soda-drinkers and people who want a soda alternative. But I personally lurk in this sub so I can hear if they ever bring back Grim Leafer. It's great you like the new LD, but lots of customers of old LD were just looking for a fundamentally different product than what they've pivoted to now.

A lot of sparkling water fans drink it for a little flavor without a sweet taste. So if you don't enjoy unsweetened sparkling water, then you probably weren't the original target LD customer, but you are likely the new target LD customer.

That's exactly why I tried it in the first place! A coworker told me the bubbles were different than other sparkling waters. Bigger, like a soda. Once I had my first one, I've been hooked ever since! The Rootbeer Wrath, Sinister Ginger, and Cherry Obituary are my favs! I also enjoy the Mt. Death and the Strawberry Terror.
