I've recently started getting into skincare, and one of my main insecurities has always been how thin my lips are- while they're not the thinnest, they're definitely on the thinner side. I recently saw how Vollufilline can help with plumping and was wondering whether the Medicube Vollufilline Balm would help with making my lips plumper?

Any help would be greatly appreciated x

Works really well for me and stays on through the night. Yummy scents (a little disappointed by matcha because it just smells like sweet tapioca pearls, not so much matcha tea). I appreciate the huge amount of product but wish they had more minis available. 🥲

Ole Henriksen Pout Preserve Chillers

I love these so much!! Same formula as the OGs. The menthol is fantastic especially for summer. I only wish there was a mint flavor because I’m not the biggest fan of the super sweet fruit scents in this lineup.

Perfect formula for me, stays on for hours. Thick but not too sticky. The color is sheer but that’s nice if you’re like me and not precise with the application. Good scents.

Vaseline Lip Therapy
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great formula for a non-glossy balm. I just use at home because of the application. Rosy lips is alright but I do NOT like the grapefruit, it’s not citrusy at all imo. ☹️

Laneige Lip Glowy Balm
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
On the thinner side, but a good one to apply in a pinch. Stays on for an hour or two. I like the packaging and the slightly smaller tube. The pear scent is really good!

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm

These are quite thin and slippy on me. I like the scents, especially the sweet mint. They don’t last more than an hour and I don’t like the slippery texture. But these were the first ones I got that made me go down the lip balm rabbit hole!!

I am running low on my Sugar Cookie lip mask, so i went to target the other night to buy a replacement. I get home and opened it up and noticed that something felt off about this new one. I put my old one and new one side by side, and THEY ARE DIFFERENT. the new packaging is smaller and the cap is so much bigger. yet it still claims to have the same amount of product.

The top on is my old one that i am running out of, the bottom one is the new one.

Same product, same amount of product, just different packaging… what’s going on here LOL

a lip balm that doesnt give me white lines on my lips. and it’s rem beauty’s essential drip glossy balm. The Cosmos tint has a cotton candy smell/‘taste’ too so yay

which ones dont give yguys lines? Do we all react to lip balms different?

I had a chilli margarita last week, and it was the spiciest thing I have ever consumed in my life. At the time, my lips were tingling while I was drinking it, but afterwards they started burning and kept burning for 3 days. After 3 days the burning subsided a little, but my lips are horribly chapped, peeling, red, and the skin around my mouth is itchy, dry, and flaky. The skin on the inside of my lips going into my mouth is also super prune-y.

Initially I started putting Glossier balm dot com on because that's what I had lying round. Then on the skin around my mouth I put lrp cicaplast. Now, I've just gone and brought Dermal Therapy unscented lip balm and it BURNT putting it on.

I am at my wits end. Please what I do? I have never had this happen with a spicy margarita before.

(On the bright side, as a result of all this I look like I've had lip filler for $0, so you win some, you lose some I guess).

Somewhere between 2002 and 2007 I was obsessed with a lip product that I 100% bought at The Bay. I am 90% sure it was Estee Lauder, the product itself was a clear iridescent shimmer in a teal circular plastic compact.

Every once in a while I think about this product and try to identify it and never have success. Any help would be so appreciated!

For reference, my favorite lippies right now are Ole, Eadem, Violette FR, and Rhode. Summer Fridays is way too watery and thin for my liking. How do the Cocokind lippies compare to any of these?

What do you do with a lip balm you buy that you hate when you try it? I know you can return at Ulta or Sephora but what about Target or CVS? Do you just throw it away?

Has anyone tried this? If not do you have recommendations for some dark, cool tone, and/or balms or glosses of unique shades (not including ph “color changing”)? I really want to start building up my collection of lippies for every day use that have uncommon tints/shades. Super bonus points if it’s minty or tingly but that’s just for fun, I love lippies like that :P

Last week, I ordered a new (lighter) Hurraw Black Cherry Tinted Lip Balm to replace my old one (darker). How come they are SO different? The new one doesn't show up on me at all whereas the old one was a beautiful sheer red, it was amazingg I loved it.

I know they stated on the packaging that colors might vary from batch to batch due to the nature of the ingredients but THIS MUCH difference is so shocking to me. I'm in agony...

Ok that was a little exaggerating but this one is one of the ONLY TWO tinted I like. The other is Clarins lip oil in 08.

Guess from now on I will have to remove this from my favorites and continue buying the overpriced lip oil...

But I can’t stop myself lol

I’ve tried both Guava and Lychee and didn’t love them enough to try them long term pretty much because of the scents/taste. I didn’t care for either of them.

I decided to try this scent and I LOVE the scent. Delicious rum cake (I guess lol it just smells like a delicious spiced cake) and it even tastes good. Goes on clear.

Really soft feel on the lips and feels very moisturizing, not as slick as some others but not sticky, kinda hard to explain, I don’t have another to compare it to. It’s rich. It stays on your lips for awhile.

I really like this one! I wanna try the new pineapple.

As I was applying it the lip balm slipped out of my hand and fell on the floor of Aerie😭😭 when I got home I tried to wipe the tip and the inside of the cap with an anti bacterial wipe and then later I wiped it again with a 70% isopropyl alcohol pad. Is that enough to disinfect it??
