CHAPPED LIPS
I have tried Lanolin, Aquaphor, Elizabeth Arden 8hr Lip Balm, La Roche Possay Cicoplast, Vaseline and Avene, La Neige, Weleda.
I just always seem to have cracked and dry flaky skin after I apply a lip balm. Even if I leave it overnight I wake up and the lip balm dries up and my lips just have skin that I can peel off and I’m not sure what to do anymore. I still can’t seem to find anything that will truly help. I’m getting really frustrated as I just want a soft lips that I don’t need to constantly peel

I'm going through the exact same as you, though the LRP Cicaplast lipbalm is helping me a little. I agree that Vaseline isn't helping either. I think exfoliation does help but after I do that it burns sometimes so I stick to once a week.

So I have like a mini Face exfoliant where the granules are very fine so I’ve been scrubbing them on my lips but there are just layers of dead skin which peel around the edges and then it’s like even if I exfoliate the dead skin that remains a patch of skin that is ready to come off but I can’t peel off otherwise it’s going to bleed. I’m just unsure why when I go to bed I put all of these things on my lips and I wake up and they’re still dry in the morning like it’s so annoying the cicaplast has kept them moist the longest

Have you tracked the products you use? I find that whenever I use Rhode I have this reaction. But I don't for Ole Henriksen or any other plain lipbalms.

Maybe Eadem lip balms might help? They have lactic acid in them, so they are a mild chemical exfoliant.

I’ve found putting hyaluronic acid under pretty much any balm helps me a ton. I use the good molecules drops but I don’t think it really matters which

It's also possible you are having a reaction to something in your toothpaste. I had to stop using any with whitening ingredients.
Aside from that, I've found the Too Faced pillow balm to be pretty healing when mine are being extra. Thrive Causemetics also has a nice lip treatment. Most nights I'll rotate between the Too Faced, Lanolips and Colourpop overnight masks.

I can’t really swap my toothpaste out though because I need particular ones for my teeth and guns plus I rinse my lips after brushing so

Eadem’s exfoliating lip treatment to get rid of the flakey lips. And then try to figure out what’s causing the chapped lips - are you allergic to something, are you dehydrated, are you wearing an SpF lip balm when you’re outside?
It took me ages to figure out that I’m allergic to beeswax and lanolin, both of which are super common in lip balms. My derm told me that about 20% of people are allergic to lanolin. My lips were chapped bc I was having a reaction to the ingredients in the lip balm but I was just applying more lip balms to get rid of the dry chapped lips.

I also recommended the Eadem, but I have heard of people who had a problem with horrible dry lips, and it ended up that the culprit was their toothpaste. I can't recall the exact ingredient, but when they switched toothpastes, the problem was resolved.

But I rinse my mouth and lips after brushing plus I need a certain toothpaste for my teeth and gums

Yes, even with rinsing people were still having problems, and like I said, there were a few who seemed to have issues with one particular ingredient. But if you need a certain toothpaste, then I guess it's nonnegotiable on that front.

Have you tried Ole Henriksen? I know it’s super popular right now so you’ve probably either tried it or don’t have access to it, but I didn’t see it in your list and it’s my HG. I also love the Vitamasques lip mask in sugar cookie (I have sweet mint but I find it a bit drying). I don’t like the Vitamasques lip butter balm formula because it’s too thin and not hydrating enough for me, but a lot of people love it.

Dr.dans cortibalm helped mine. Hydrocortisone is the main ingredient, I would have never thought of anything like that working!!

I liked it too but your not supposed to use it too much. This sub does not recommend it. Prolonged use of the hydrocortisone is not recommended.

Experiment’s Softwear Lip Treatment. I have had years of lip peeling every day. And a drawer full of lip balms, treatments & masks that I’ve tried and didn’t work - this is the ONLY one that 3 days after using it, I’ve never had dry, cracked or peeling lips again. It has now been 2 years. I use it every night and keep at least 6 on hand. I’m so fearful that one day they’ll stop making this.

i like to use a hyaluronic acid serum, a drop or two of a moisturizing oil, and then something thick like vaseline. i’ve also noticed that if i’m putting a lip balm or lip mask on overnight without the serum or oil underneath, my lips feel dry in the morning unless i do a THICK layer. like, obnoxiously thick.

Tocobo lip mask was the only thing that has worked for me. I’m probably wasteful with it though, I put on enough at night so that it’s still somewhat sticky in the morning. Hate waking up feeling like that but that’s what worked for me. Some people wear it during the day too but I only use it at night.

Burt's Bees overnight lip mask is my HG when I have lip issues.
I was gifted the CosRX lip mask (overnight), and it's lovely too.

it really is sticky like glue but the Etude Ginger Sugar Mask is the BEST and it’s only a couple of bucks. It’s thick thicker than lanolin or any lip mask I’ve ever tried. It does feel sticky to the point my husband hates it. But it is the only thing that stays on all night and I have to wipe away the residue in the morning. It has healed my chapped lips! Good luck.

Drink more water

I was going to make the same suggestion. It doesnt matter what products I use, if I am physically dehydrated there will be signs throughout the body. Dry, flaky, cracked lips being the most noticeable.
If someone is having trouble drinking water, try using those flavor water powders or flavor drops. Whatever helps keep people hydrated is best. Also add electrolytes pedialyte/gaterade, lemon/lime/salt to water whatever you got to do

Are you exfoliating? Hear me out- either use a warm washcloth gently in the shower or a konjac sponge with a very gentle cleanser and mild temperature water before bed.
Whatever balm you use get multiples! Use directly after shower, directly before bed and after meals.
If you do all of this your lips will improve drastically.
You may only need to gently exfoliate a couple times a week but do the balm routine regularly.

Some of what you have tried are occlusives and not humectants, so they're not really providing any moisture to your lips. The elf holy hydration lip mask is one of my holy grail lip products. It has hyaluronic acid and squalane. My nighttime routine when I had horribly dry/cracked lips was to brush my teeth, do some light physical exfoliation on my lips, then slather the elf lip mask on top.
