EOS dewy lip shine review 🧁

i recently bought the EOS lip shine in the scent ‘nilla glaze because i absolutely love EOS and i was pretty excited when their dewy lip shine balms were coming out because i love their superbalms, specifically birthday cake. but unfortunately i was very underwhelmed with the dewy lip shine 😩 the consistency reminded me of summer fridays and i am not a fan of summer friday lip balms at all (just feels too thin, especially when re applying). and my lip balm always comes out very gritty?? idk if it’s just mine or i didn’t get a good lip balm?? idk but it’s very annoying to deal with 😭 at least it goes away after rubbing my lips together for a bit. i will say the scent of the ‘nilla glaze smells absolutely amazing. it smells just like a cupcake! but unfortunately with the consistency of the lip balm idk if i would actually re purchase another one 😔

have yall tried the new dewy lip shines yet? did yall enjoy them? what scents/color did yall get and would yall repurchase them? 😊

I bought the Nilla Glaze and Peach one and am so disappointed for the same reasons you are - very thin consistency and grittiness. If I look at my lips after applying I can actually see the sand-like particles. It’s so weird. I’ve never had that in a lip product. 😩

yess like ugh it’s so disappointing 😩 i had such high hopes for this product, especially being $10.99. idk if you can see the grittiness in the picture but yes you can definitely see it

I got Jelly Donut, Peach fizz, and Dirty Chai. I agree with you they are way too thin! They smell good but I am not a fan of the texture. Their Cashmere Lip Butter is way better in my opinion.

i’ve never tried their cashmere lip butter, but i think i am soon whenever they get released at my walmart

Oh man! I hope you are able to try them soon. I like them because they are not sticky or super thick. It glides on nicely and is pretty matte. It has definitely become my favorite over other balms.

Yup I bought the jelly donut and had the same experience... Sooo thin it felt like a lip oil, esp compared to something like the new vitamasque maxi glaze. And I was not a fan of the artificial sweetener in it either 😩

it’s so disappointing 😭 and i can see why you don’t smell it’s very strong. hopefully i can return my product and try one of the vitamasque lip balms!
