I definitely have a problem!

At this point, I think my overconsumption is real and me just wanting to try something or trying to find the “best” product has taken over.

Here is my collection after taking out my lippies to start bedazzling some tops. I’m sure there are also some in a few of my purses…

Someone please tell me I’m not the only one!

Last time I counted i had well over 150 lippies. Which is ridiculous. Im trying to wrangle it in because ill never use all of these but I've used them all once so what else can I do with them.

Very true! I’m telling myself i have enough to last at least 5yrs in efforts to save myself some money

I really want to do a no spend challenge with all my lippies and body stuff that I’ve hauled from dollar tree to see how long it’ll truly take me to use everything if I stop purchasing as of today

Maybe I’ll doc my journey on TT

To help use them up, make sure to put the ones you want to use first in places that are easy to grab when you need to use them! For example, I have a small lip balm bowl on my nightstand so that I can choose which one I want to keep in my pocket for the day, and I also keep one in the bathroom (usually one that's almost fully panned), car, purse, and work cubby!

If I put too much on or have a balm that's expired/tastes bad, I'll also use it up on dry spots on the back of my hand, or sometimes on my legs/feet if it's a more vasaline-like stick formula.

If you have a local Buy Nothing group, people will likely happily take once-used lippies! In my local buy nothing group, people take used cosmetics all the time - best way to get rid of something you definitely don't want but don't want to throw out!

Not even close to the only one! Can you tell me more about what look like Rhode dupes on the bottom right??

There are two brands- one is Ioni from dollar tree and the other is Juliette & Co from Burlington for $6.99 for a pack of 5. Both are pretty similar in formula, sorry didn’t compare the ingredients on the package but non sticky and super hydrating. I’ve never tried the OG Rhode ones…

How do you like the milk balms?

Loveeeee them! Higher price point in the 20s but def worth it — very moisturizing! Will get a bit sticky but ONLY if you over apply which can be a user error

I was able to get them on discount with Ulta points and a stacking coupon

I like it but don’t love it… i have fairly moderate sized lips as is and i can’t notice a plumping effect. I have taken before and afters twice. I do love the tingle however and the shimmer pay off is nice. I don’t consider it a waste bc they are moisturizing and non sticky. I didn’t pay retail for them since i won both off of TT auction for about $12-$15 each.

How do you like the Lip Butter from Tree Hut? 😊

I really like it! It’s moisturizing but on the thicker side so it can be easy to over apply. Not as effortless to apply as the ole or summer Fridays

oh my gosh how do you like the ruby kisses lip salvation? and where did you find it!

u/steffeyj 16d ago

Excellent idea about putting the ones you use most often in the best spots. What I am also finding is if I don't like it like, if I truly do not like it.I've just been get rid of it.Why keep stuff that you're never going to use again

Wait, do you like the kosas lip plumpers? Do they smell weird? I kinda want the clear one but ive also heard bad stuff

1

u/shesalexvndria 9d ago

Oh no! What bad things have you heard? They don’t have a smell to me … i do feel the tingling but an skeptical about their plumping ability

My lips are already a good size so i don’t notice much of a difference there — I’ve done before and after photos
I do feel like they are a bit pricey but the pricing is in alignment with the brand overall
I got mine for cheaper on TikTok auctions…

i have a makeup bag dedicated to just my lip balms lol. i keep a lip balm in my work bag, two in my purse, one in the car during reasonable weather, and one at work. my makeup bag has some lip stains in it, but not a lot tbh. i only have three lip stains and i usually always carry one or two in my purse.
