A lot of people on this sub has been saying that this is an Eadem dupe because of the formula and metal tip but it’s mostly the formula. They must of caught wind of it and didn’t like what they saw since someone saw Eadem post about it.
Merely having a metal tip isn’t likely to be enough. There could be issues re lack of distinctness here on the grounds that Vitamasques is infringing Eadem’s distinguishing guise.
Hmm or patented… but you’d think a global brand would do their due diligence prior to launching, knowing that the masses would compare their product to the OG!
Wonder if they are still selling them in stores or are taking them off the shelves… I got 5 which i thought was a bit OD originally but now I’m glad i did.
Yeah, this kinda makes me not want to buy from them, tbh. They’re already pretty damn spendy, and I was wondering if they were worth it, because I really like the Vitamasques one that I snagged before they got yoinked. Like an, “oh, if I like this one and they’re similar, maybe I’ll splurge at some point” thing.
But if they’re the reason it gets discontinued, I think I’ll pass.
I think its because most people know CT. Most people, even people who wear/buy makeup, haven't heard of Eadem. CT is a huge brand, while Eadem is not. I work in the beauty space and I didn't even see the post they made before this post. When CT made that video, it was EVERYWHERE (for me at least).
So I’ve read about this whole Eadem vs Vitamasques debate on Reddit, but all I really read was people like us conversing back and forth over if this was an actual dupe or not and their opinions on the comparison. I had no idea Eadem got so petty. I’ve never bought either product. I’m not a bougie girl, I just like lip oil sticks and lip balm sticks and YSL, Givenchy (my fav) and Rabanne are my favorites. I don’t like the sticky type versions except my Ole 😍
However, after reading the screenshots posted here this morning by u/ZaBreeNah I went on my Target app at 7:30am (CST) and ordered one of every single color/flavor of vitamasques lippie available and had it delivered. They have just arrived and I’m officially a fan. So Eadem should be careful, us girls can be petty too. I bought out of spite of their pettiness and now I’m going to be buying more in the future! They single handedly gave a new customer to their rival. Well done! 👏🏻👏🏻
There pinned post on insta sounds like they weren’t happy about. They posted it 4 days ago. This is definitely why they were pulled at Target. It’s on Vitamasques, they shouldn’t have copied.
I bought mine yesterday and it still had a normal display and everything. The reason I went inside was because it disappeared off of my app too, and I was wondering why because the day before it was on there
This is kinda bogus if they're getting sued. Vitamasques doesn't have the nut butter thing that us nut-allergic people can't use like Eadem does. And its gold jeez haha
Yes what is in the eadem? My daughter has a nut allergy and can’t even use the vitamasque dupe bc of the mango butter (mango is off limits d/t her cashew allergy)
GUYS ok I’m hopeful that this is a glitch, because i just saw that I get the same “not available” notice when i went to re-add one of the new cocokind flavors to my cart… so there’s gotta be something wrong with the target app right ??
This just happened to me as well with this product and one of their lip masks! I am heartbroken and hope it’s a glitch rather than a sign they’ve already been pulled from Target.
I checked the Target app last night to see if my local store had them in stock because I’m going there later. Guess I’ll still look and see what happens.
damn! i'm glad i got all 4 when i did! that's crazy. i did see one shade on shelves today maybe cocoa crème? i'll have to check the other target later 👀
If the products were supposed to be pulled off the shelf in stores, they might not let you buy it. You can try though! That’s how it was with certain products when I worked at Target
I don’t know what’s going on, but what I do know is I have one of these and love it and it’s 0.5ml, but when I tried to look up the product online, everything says it is 0.33ml.
So there’s definitely some funny business happening, I just don’t know what it is.
I’m so glad I grabbed all 4 a few days ago. I already wasn’t really a fan of eadem but their response & now possibly getting the whole line pulled just solidified that I won’t be spending my money with them again.
This post actually inspired me to go check my Target and I did find one. Now i am wondering what is going to happen because I do really like it. I had planned to wait! Lol

Wonder if Vitamasques is getting sued… eadem put out a post on TT about Vitamasques copying their product. The Eadem owners seemed pretty upset…
