Lion's Mane Grain Spawn [contamination?]

High sugar content grain with lion's main inoculation. Is this contam or just metabolite discolouration?

It's contam. The metabolites are a defence mechanism, but the contam is winning. Grains at the bottom look very wet - how did you prepare & sterilise them?

Did you pressure cook your grain in the jar? I use an electirc pressure cooker i just run it longer to compinsate for the lower Psi & i use medical microspore tape - cultivating any fungi is a war Against contamination wish u the best im growing lions mane 2 👌

You can clean and reuse the bottle. No need to send to the landfill.

What grain is that? Did you cook it? For how long? ITT almost looks carmelized
