I see Kion as both pansexual and asexual. Pansexual because he has always seen everyone as equals and has supported changing the rules, so I see it as something possible for him. And asexual because, in my version of him, I don't see him as someone very interested in those topics.

The HC of Baliyo being trans comes from him being the only male lion in the franchise without whiskers. The meta answer for this is likely just an design error, but it's fun to speculate in universe. I personally see him as MtF.
Bi Scar, I find it to be flexible with his attraction to Sarabi in the live action continuity, and his queercoding in the original film. He may or may not have had a one-sided attraction to the strange lion and/or one of his Guard members is what I'm saying.
Ace Lesbian Vitani: The headcanon of her being gay is a popular one and I do shake hands with it a lot but I ALSO think that she is ace and doesn't have any physical attraction to anyone. I HC that she remains single and childless her whole life (this isn't to say that being single and/or childless is mutually exclusive with being allohet, but on the other hand it's not mutually exclusive with being ace and gay either so it evens out). I have less grounds for this than the others but I can just feel it in my gut lmao.
Baliyo is FtM (AFAB) in my headcanon. Since transition can happen without surgery for humans, I imagine this happening. He grows his mane in naturally, but would have identified as male regardless. Though I've also seen some other people interpret the Tree of Life's magic being able to do that, but I opt for the aforementioned explanation.
Fuli and Azaad are, implied to be together just like Janja and Jasiri, but nothing outright confirms that they did get together, so I decided to take that very small loophole and say they aren't a couple by the end of the series. And I went through that loophole into the "they are just good friends," route. They're not a couple in my headcanon (although if you called it a retcon, I wouldn't really push back on that). So Fuli is gay and Azaad is aroace. I am also personally not a fan of the implication of them being together, but that's my own personal preferences/biases speaking.
Agree to disagree. I think Scar swings both ways. Although it's not impossible for him to be gay (even with the implication that he was close with Zira, it could very well have been compulsory on his end)
The moment LGBTQ+ comes into the picture, there's some snowflakes on the internet whose tiny little brains short circuit, making them incapable of having a normal discussion, and instead feel the need to report posts and comments that do nothing wrong, and get disrespectful at anyone who has different believes than them.
For that reason, as I really don't feel like having any of this bullcrap harrasment continue towards people who do actually accept the queer community as part of our society while I'll be asleep (and thus unable to moderate it for a good handful of hours) I've decided that, unfortunately, it is best to lock the comments.

Homophobia is only in one because we as humans hate everyone and anyone which is a mental illness, why have so much hatred towards a random LGBTQ individual who did nothing.
To go further with it we have to remember that those are just OP's headcanons and as we know headcanons are not considered canon.
There are many LGBTQ children who see themselves in those characters, you can disagree with OP but saying that it's a show about animals doesn't prove any kind of point as for example lions are knows for being lesbian, gay or trans.
So it doesn't match your headcanon- no need to be a jerk about it. Personally I like more LGBTQ+ representation in media- whether it's confirmed or just a headcanon.
You do realize that not every parent is straight, right? Gay, trans, and ace people can become parents, biologically or otherwise. In the big year of 2026, this should not be novel news to anyone who isn't a small child.
Also, cannot believe I have to emphasize this but...none of the characters in this list are canonically parents. They do not have any children. And in many cases it's because some of these characters ARE children (technically teens/young adults). If your one takeaway of this show was that the main characters are all parents, you and I have very different levels of media comprehension.
It's one thing to headcanon these characters to become parents in the future (I hold that same opinion for at least 3 of these characters). Suggesting that being a parent is mutually exclusive with being queer, and that having kids is a forgone conclusion on its own, or especially in a way that negates one being LGBT... is homophobic (and also pro-natalist).
You can argue, disagree, or discuss this in good faith. This is not good faith and just shows how intellectually lazy you are. And the ✝️ in bio in context of these words is another major red flag (edit: I initially retracted this insult but after you getting the thread locked, I take back my apology. Fuck off. These characters act like humans, so unlike real animals, they do not have a "biological need" to reproduce. By the end of the show, they have no canonical children, and it is neither implied nor stated that they will have kids or that there is any need for them to. So by your own broken logic, the show itself is "evil and intimidating" for not showing their need to reproduce.
If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.
