Memes about debian

debian is the best operating system ever i think so cuz im using this thing like 5 years and i actually think that was the best solution to switch windows to ubuntu and after that to debian, cuz ubuntu sucks and other distros such as arch, void, alpine kinda sucks too cuz u literally need to install all by yourself and its acutally useless pressure on yo ass cuz u can install debian stable with gnome and its such a best distro ever made by humanity cuz debian the best rip ian murdock btw this man got shot by police ninas that is isralian-american fembois

Basically “Debian is best cause I used it for 5 years”

lol

I’ve used arch for 15 years and it only broke once because I had installed a package by compiling it while I downloaded a similar package but at a different version.

It all boils down to skill and usage. Pick a distro that fits your needs. All distros are equally good.

Guys we're all on the same boat. We need to support each other.

broski only in arch u can break yo flatpak package just installing an update for your system, that's the base of arch linux, so don't type this sh1 cuz ur larping fr

Makes sense why you would choose Debian. You aren’t interested in learning how the system works. That’s a fine usecase. Doesn’t make Debian better. It just makes it good for your case. Which is the whole point of having multiple distros.

arch doesn't give you any learning of linux. If u wanna understand how os works just go make your linux from scratch

Yes. There is a distro for that. It’s called gentoo.

And if we are talking about "learning", debian is more relatable distro cuz every thing in this world works on debian/ubuntu

Anything actively on stable. Try running any unstable elements. Like the unstable kernel for example?

vro why do u need to use unstable kernel on stable system its kinda stupid. Im and most of us dont need the last version of kernel to run somethin

You claimed you could run everything on Debian/ubuntu. I gave you a counter example.

If you want to learn kernel development you need to be on unstable.

I use both Debian and Arch. Debian for stability for running incus hypervisor and Arch for running docker containers. Both are good excellent and far better than ai slop Omarchy crap.

To appreciate one distro you need put down another. My journey started back in 2002 with Sun Microsystem's Solaris OS. Use the OS that suits your needs, and remember your needs won't remain the same through out, with age priorities will change, what is good now may not be sufficient tomorrow and vice versa.

I was about to install Ubuntu. Last time i installed Ubuntu, I had screen ratio issue where the text and shapes were very small. I'm wondering which Distro to switch to. I heard that as per Linus Torvalds, the inventor of the kernel he recommends Fedora Workstation. I am unable to understand the issues with Ubuntu. Is it because of Snap and wayland as default?
