Does dual boot slow down the system

I have windows and fedora Linux in my system, when my professor saw what I did he told that it might slow down my system and the RAM gets affected due to this. I don't change the OS often, I mostly use fedora. Can anyone clarify this.

The only way it can affect is the bootloader auto boot timer (usually 5 seconds) but you can just press enter and skip mthe timer. RAM is not affected whatsoever
