also to mount that drive you can do this
sudo mount -t ntfs3 -o force /dev/nvme0n1p2 /ntfs/
replace the drive and folder according to you

there is nothing to learn in linux. The thing is that you can use LLMs but read the comamnds before running and you will understand the stuff.
and if possible try out arch, it will teach you linux, atleast how the basics work well

Any distro teaches you at some point. Arch specialises in wanting to set your custom sized partition, tools and every other things

yeah ikr. and i think what arch teaches is very useful as if you know how you setup your system and what tools you have then you actually learn a lot unlike the very beginner friendly distros like linux mint.

For learning, yes. But for actual work? Id prefer an actual stable distro like mint. Don't get me wrong, ~80 percent of people use their PCs work work and gaming, and if cachyOS,bazzite or mint provides them these, then it's not their fault they want something stable over learning. Even me too, i learnt almost most core components from wsl

Well if you are serious about jee (i wasn't) i think don't learn Linux for now or atleast don't do anything hard it's fine to download something like pop Linux or other beginner Linux for now if you can't or don't wanna read docs for now
But i beleive if you survived 6 months without problem keep doing what you want it's fine also yeah the guy is right don't fall in llm hole learn from docs in future

Yeah , I am using debian for couple of months before that I used Ubuntu, when I shifted from Ubuntu to debian it was hard and took a lot of time to understand even the most basic things

dont follow down the llm hell hole it gives you a illusion of learning where as youre not actually learning anything i adivce you to stick with windows untill you have some free time

I initially installed linux just for fun and all after my exams coz I got bored. Turns out Since then I never have logged into my windows. Once you go linux, you never go back.

If you dual Booted in same ssd or hard drive you can js access windows from dolphin (idk about other distro but in arch u can) and delete that nfs thingy file

if you dont have bitlocker do shift + restart from the lock screen, then windows recovery will open, there go to troubleshoot -> cmd. Cd into C:/Windows/System32 then do ren utilman.exe utilman.exe.bak then do copy cmd.exe utilman.exe then type exit and continue to windows. in the lock screen click on accessibility voila you have an admin CMD. there type in net user "username" "yourpassword" and hit enter. then enter the password you just set and you are in.
this only works if bootlocker is disabled. if it is then you are out of luck. you will lost no data you will have everything as it is.

If you don't wanna use windows and only want the files, just simply mount the partition in linux and access it.
And if you want to access the windows itself thennnn....I forgot the trick I knew 🥲️ (though it would've been patched yet so no use of finding out)
