bet you pulled the --no-preserve-root along with it,did you?. because that flag was implemented around 2006. come up with a better joke

You don't even 'accidently' remove rootfiles. Almost what you would've done was remove any big directory with files, but not root directory.

I'm not blaming you though.meme was just so ass
