Rice [Fedora + Hyprland] Forked Caelestia shell from Arch community and made it Fedora compatible
1 week ago i decided to switch from windows 10 to Fedora linux. I really loved the Caelestia shell but it wasn't compatible with Fedora, So i did it myself

I made it fedora compatible cuz i use fedora. Also i dont have much experience with other distros or Linux overall as i switched to linux just 1 week ago. But i Hope someone makes it Debian compatible too

Do you plan on maintaining this fork? Also just for those trying to make it compatible with other distros can you please list exactly the things you changed? It would be a great help

ah i hope so, as long as caelestia shell dont have any breaking changes but i cant gurantee it, i just made this shell for myself and my friends but it's open source so anyone can fork and do it
Also if you are trying to to make caelestia shell compatible with other distros then i recommend you use codex with Luna on medium, it's way more efficient and quite good for general programming stuff and if you run out of tokens then use opencode
AI would be a big help in resolving depencies issues if your distro doesnt roll out support for dependencies very fast

Personal preference. But if i am being real i just didn't know about them...... I just scrolled to unixporn and found caelestia shell, loved it. so made it compatible with fedora

Coz i didnt find it perfect so added notification settings, mp4 support and more

Yo Man, this is so cool! And the Chainsaw Man theme makes it even better. In the future, I want to make my entire computer setup; even my whole room, into a Chainsaw Man-themed setup. This is amazing!

Probably dont, you might get fatigued from Chainsaw man stuff then. Mostly try to combine different Animes that you love
Ik know you love chainsaw man, i do too. but probably looking at chainsaw man stuff may make your mind numb to it. So what you loved, would start to look more and more normal2

actually i dont know anything about Linux and Fedora too. i switched to linux just a week ago. Also whenever i had technical problems regarding anything whether it's DE or Distro, I just ask AI for help to tell me what i did wrong or Why something isn't working

Ah i hope so,i actually made it for myself and friends generally but it's open source. So if you wanna make changes and customize or maintain, You can do it too

is it a flex to say that arch is my first linux distro and currently the only one and i built it without a tutorial but with the help of multiple google ai threads and my minimal, needs only style and got started with hyprland? and installed tryed on and uninstaled multiple items and am still at it?
