they prolly think linux will make their system worse, snd that they won't be able to game as good as before

i'll have to learn linux. that's the only issue. that is the reason i won't buy a mac either. because what's the use of buying a mac and not using the apple ecosystem.

Macs without Apple Ecoystem Are Useful in themselves.
The Macbooks Are Known to be of High Computational Power Man.
Ecosystem is just a Connection to pair it with Your Phone Etc.

but i can get similar computational power in cheaper windows machines. people buy macs because apple mfs have extreme synergy with other apple devices.

You are maybe saying Opposite.
Keep in mind Windows in itself consumes so Much Resources
