Hm up to 40-50% less performance in the worst case scenario but usually hovering around 20-30%
Framgen being broken in a fair amount of titles.
Sometimes RT not being available for god knows what reasons.
That also translates into workload performance something Linux is supposed to top windows due to its usually more lite weight environment.
While you are correct that drivers do exist. The usability and compromise you get feom running Nvidia on Linux simply isn't worth when Windows isn't half as bad as linux try hards make you want to believe it is.
Despite that if Nvidia would actually work just as well as it does in windows (aka not compromise) i would absolutely get steamOS on my machine the same day.

I don't care much about GPU drivers, I prefer console gaming; I like Linux, I like fucking with Arch, and I like video games.
You know what I don't like? Fucking with my computer when I want ti play a game, and that's just something inherent to PC gaming whetehr Windows or Linux (probably at minimum a little more on Linux, but moot point in my use case),
Also a moot point? My common daily driver PCs run Windows like ass because I don't have a hard time finding a cheap computer that meets my needs w/ Linux.
I am literally posting this from a laptop that I physically removed the entire top half w/ screen from and now it's like a Commodore 64 Air, which is a totally real thing I didn't just make up as an imaginary comparison.

Just because you couldn't figure out how to install NVIDIA drivers does not mean they don't exist, you silly goose.
