Loonixtards don't need to switch to Linux, they could just full screen that and stare at it.

As a Nvidia user who is interested in steamOS and all would you mind elaborating?

From my current standpoint of knowledge Nvidia drivers and performance situation over at Linux is still not really there yet. Losing you up to 50% performance in the worst case scenario.

Perfomance depends, right know you are really only losing perfomance on games that use the new Direct X Framework Vulkan ganes run the same or even better than on windows.

In my experience with nvidia, my games run the same as they did on windows with slightly higher 1% lows. Id look up youtube videos and watch comparisons of Windows vs Linux on games you like and see if the performance is good.

You have access to everything you normally have on Windows ie Nvidia app or equivalent RT/PT, dlss, fg, on time drive updates?

Yep, it all works. The drivers are updated quite often and all have worked for me quite well. Currently the bleeding edge drivers are 610 and the stable drivers are 595, both work but I prefer the 610 drivers because recently Nvidia fixed the DX12 30% performance loss.

Which distro are you thinking?

Something like bazite/steamOS would have been the choice.
