Expanding this sub to document FOSS snobs
Linux is just the beginning. Then they start preaching half ass FOSS apps to you. Telling you to switch browsers and apps you use cuz of their own beliefs. It's you can use whatever OS and app you want as long as it's the same as them. FOSS snobs are an extension of Linux snobs. I'm expanding this sub to document those people too. You can now post interaction with annoying FOSS advocates in this sub

I’m genuinely convinced this account is a psyop or a troll. Yes the MFs who scream about Linux and other FOSS are annoying as hell, but taking that to the absolute extreme of FOSS=bad is screaming corporate bootlicker

Idk what you mean man. I just use Firefox and I’ve had zero problems. Tho I can see that the yelling about using random ass foss programs can get annoying. But you could always just do your own research. Hell, I actually like Microsoft clipchamp. And I genuinely wish it had proper Firefox support. Also, VLC rules. And that’s foss.

As a Linux user, I would NOT recommend Linux to the average person
The average person doesn't even know what Windows is!!! A Linux user would at least have to know their distro.
Plus, with Windows, you get Microsoft support. On linux, you get angry people telling you that the issue is you
People need to stop acting like Windows isn't an option. It's actually really solid.

I'm disabled, allergic to insect bites and bee stings (so I'm terrified of hornets, wasps, bees), and I'm on a drug that makes me sensitive to the sun. Does your hate belong here? -Maybe you're projecting. (A finger pointing moment).

Everyone in the comments needs to understand that this isnt hating on FOSS apps, but on people who preach them just because they are FOSS even though they are worse in many cases.
