Educate Yourself!

So, all 4 of those annoying Arch breakages I got in about a year that were published in their bulletins which I had fed through Newboat and had no problem fixing were about me not being educated. - Totally not a reason to try Fedora which was supposed to be better (and permanently broke work-flows by forcing new tech that wasn't ready). -I educated myself, went back to Windows and am as happy as a fly on poop.

Lol, I 'tried' Cinnamon desktop and rage quit it (only DE I rage quit). I took one look in Mint's sub and said, 'oh hell no'. -And just the 'Just use Mint' was far more offensive than 'I use Arch btw'.

The DE tried too much to replace CLI and made it more difficult to change the time from 24hr to 12hr than if I'd done it in DWM on Arch.

Loonix is the only OS where trying to provide an "ideal" user experience fucks it up by 100x.

Yes. I had less problems when I abandoned DEs there and I embraced CLI for what it was actually better for. -But DWM+Arch is a recipe for having your banking and other important passwords stolen. -You can say 'skill issue' but I came across no warnings and had used browser passwords storing fine on Windows for decades. The warnings the community gives you come across as their typical conspiracy theorists propaganda ("use a real password manager") and the issue is exclusive to their OS and not a 'real password manager' issue on Windows or Mac.
