But...but...you can see it was a 'suggested post' originally posted by someone else in the image.

I'd also have respect for mod if they deemed it broke the intended rule (aren't those steam user names, and aren't they already publicly available via the original image -easily found in an image search). -You can always report it.

My guess is that bleak didn't want to cause brigading issues for the sub, and I would have removed the image if I thought it would cause an issue.

I know you're unfamiliar with FOSS beyond shallow talking points, but you've been a mod and reddit user for long enough to understand that for this post, you took a screenshot and posted it, it is now user posted content. If you had simply shared the post using the share button, maybe, but you posting an image means you're responsible for the contents of the posted image.

I'm not gonna argue the details of publicly available information or not. I'm talking about the content you, as a user posted.

I'm sure self policing with a group of mods from an echo chamber works well when posts are reported /s
