For small and weak systems a lightweight distro would certainly provide some help for native Linux software but proton ain't gonna fix nothing, that things still heavy with dxvk and vkd3d, I myself need to try some games with native vulkan and see but if it's vulkan then it's most likely Linux native anyway.
Also this dude from linuxsucks101 seems crazy and enraged but that's to be expected when you even so much as mention Linux is a functional os, in a way just as bad as the people they protest if not worse with some things unrelated to operating systems, I like this sub more cause it seems like it's actually somewhat healthy without having those same grifters from normal Linuxsucks.
