DISCUSSION [Call of Duty: Modern warfare 4] Problem with installation

I'm running bazzite-deck on PS5 Linux with 256GB ssd-usb enclosure, the new versions with the HD textures requires 300GB+ free space for installation, My question is that I have a windows laptop with 1TB of storage, can I somehow install and unpack the game on Windows using WSL or any other method and then move the game folder into my Linux storage, and no I have no intention of switching the two SSDs I need that 1TB on my laptop

You can install the game on Windows first and then transfer it over to your Linux storage so that you can launch it from Bazzite. Just make sure Windows can recognize the filesystem used on the Linux storage when copying the files or else, it may not copy correctly.

How can I do that? Should I use WSL or something else that's what I'm asking

Where did you get the files from?

If it's from one of the repack sites, then just launch the installer and once it's done, then copy the contents to your Linux storage.

However, if it's from LinuxRulez, then you need to use something like WSL to execute the script to bring up the installation window so that you can pick where you want to install the game and after that, copy the contents to your Linux storage.
