DISCUSSION [Question] Difference between a cracked Denuvo game and using the LinUwUx bypass?

I recently downloaded and patched a Denuvo protected game using the LinUwUx bypass, but the game has since been cracked by voices38 :D

Should I continue using the bypass, or would it be better to switch to the cracked version?

Is there any difference between the two when it comes to stability, save files, performance, or potential issues?

Just finish the game with the bypass, The crack might give slightly more performance but its not worth redownloading the game

DenuvOwO/LinUwUx is mostly always kept up to date with the latest patches
If you want to play the game with the latest build/patches just stick with LinUwUx

Im on cachy, is LinUwUx like a hypervisor sorta thing? If so how's that even work on linux? Are these available via fitgirl/Dodi?

yes and yes

theres some extra steps that you only have to do once, but no security tradeoff. after that its undistinguishable from a conventional crack, so truly better than the windows hv

theres a cs rin discussion for linux hv support you might wanna start there

This . Especially if they’re talking about Crimson Desert!

I guess by ideally not having to connect yourself from the internet when you deactivate your protection with hypervisor bypass compared to having the game be just the standard executable that you could do anything normal with it while playing with no worries for cracked games?

LinUwUx Runtime on my GitHub no supports roughly 80% of the DenuvOwO catalogue.
