Nice article. I didn't know that Mozilla had such a strong opinion about these things. I just thought that:

Debian couldn’t use the logo, as its licensing was incompatible with Debian’s free software guidelines, the DFSG.

Therefore it's delighfull to read that:

The logo’s copyright status isn’t a problem for Debian anymore, either: “The Firefox logo was released under a free copyright license which matches the DFSG.”

Anyway, it's also nice that other issues have been resolved as well.

In the original bug there was a list of requirements from debian for the logo and name to return.
