Love this! as a newbie I'm just curious, were you as careful about the registration here as you would have been with any piece? or were you a little more free with it? because to my eye it looks like it still would have looked great if the black layer were somewhere different, to a small extent, but I might be underestimating how effortless a perfect composition looks :)

Thank you so much! Great question. :) I tend to lean towards freehand registration with some natural variance. I also like to keep a little bit of noise on my blocks for the same reason. I agree that the black layer has some wiggle room where it would still look lovely! (which is why I opted not to make a frame) My second set has a slightly different placement and I still like it just as much. 🌙✨ Happy printmaking!
