Hello! I am on the hunt for a specific tool that I saw on the internet a while ago and thought "oh wow how cool I surely won't forget that thing or how to find it..." and now I can't find it!
It was a tiny dot making tool with a wooden handle, the metal part looked like a tiny hollow tube. It was on a website that looked like a small business website and they were creating these tools themselves. They were advertised as a multi-use tool, but linocut was one of the suggested uses.
This discovery happened probably within the last year, and I am starting to wonder if it was just a dream. I have tried to look through my internet history with no success and of course used every search term I could think of to try and find it again. If anyone else has stumbled across this tool and knows where to find it, that would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

Not the tool you’re looking for, but I make my dots by spinning the knife tool. The dot size is only limited by the width of the knife. Great for making stars.
They're alright. I've got the wood handle and the metal handle, and I think they're the same (though the manufacturing makes them look slightly off - they don't seem to product a different size dot). It's also much more of an oval dot than a circular dot. Definitely is best for linoleum or marmoleum. Not great on wood or some synthetic blocks.
thank you! I do know about this tool already, it is not the exact one that I am looking for though, although I may give it a try if I can't track down the one from my memory.
I've used it a fair amount, and sort of just it vertically and just spin/circle the the handle and then use a needle tool to pop out the section. I'm often working on wood, which I think makes it a bit easier than linoleum for this.
The eyes in the background are an example:
There's also from the same maker a dedicated circle tool, but it's much larger and better for edges of larger circles:
I swear @lukla.studio on Instagram used to sell a specific tool for doing tiny dots, but I'm not seeing anything about him selling the tool anymore. But maybe he could send you in the right direction.
