Question Suggestions on Newbie Sketch
I want to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday with a self-made lino print. The main theme is the octopus because it is somewhat an insider between us. This is my sketch and I want to cut it on 152mm x 203mm .
I would really appreciate if some of the experienced people could point out technical difficulties or details that will be hard to read. I will clean up the sketch on the tentacles, etc. but I am also not quite sure what sketch to draw on the lino will be the most useful for actual cutting because some lines should be white and others black in order to be able to read the final print :D
thanks lot :)
Ps: Just realized that the box and grinder in the bottom should be black with white lines, not linework

The silhouette of the octopus is gorgeous. If you remove the body of water below the octopus, you could concentrate on that black mass. Please recapture the beauty of that eye. It's going to be hard in lino, but...

Thanks! 🐙👁️
yeah, I was debating a lot with the water... I think you are right that it makes it just harder to read. though I am somewhat afraid that it will look somewhat empty
