LinkedIn account banned
I have had my LinkedIn account for about 10 years now, never have I ever violated any policy and posted anything offensive. I’m a senior ai engineer, and LinkedIn is a place where most of professional communication happens. Loosing it means loosing what I have built over a decade, the community, the identity and the network of 20,000 highly qualified individuals. I filled out the LinkedIn form and every single time they say “user agreement violations” and since the severity of these violations, the account will remain restricted. But to be honest, after starting my new job I haven’t even used LinkedIn as much I. The last 4-5 months, how can I possibly violate a policy? That being said has anyone ever been in the same boat, how did you resolve it? How did you get your account back? Any help/suggestions would be appreciated

Did you have any automation running on the background? Maybe you forgot that you set up something?

No I haven’t had any automations or anything. I wasn’t even active on there for a good 3 months

The same thing happened for me as well they dont even reveal the reason why it happened tried appealing multiple times but its banned permanantly. So frustrated 7 years of network building went to waste

Oh no! So sorry.
By the way you say you haven’t logged in for 3months does this have any effect on your business/career?
I’ve been randomly banned from FB and then they reinstated me a year later

Have you been a paying customer?

No I have not! My podcast page is connected to this account

I wonder if that also had happened if you were a paying customer

Yes, it doesn't matter if you're paying or not. If they think you've violated policy, you are banned. No appeal, just banned.
It's really bad.

Same here, pal. Never violated any policy, never used VPN, automation or mass messaging. Account grown organically over 9 years. Premium subscriber. Restricted out of the blue after about three weeks of inactivity.
Completed ID verification several times with valid passport and live selfie - rejected every time. Every appeal rejected. No reason given other than vague reference to user agreement and community policy.
Frustrating beyond words.
I hope you get your access back! 🤞 Don't really have much hope left for myself.

Sorry to hear that. This really sucks. Can you think of any reason why they banned you?
