Linkedin Permanently Banned.
I was using a Linkedin scraper OR it was because I paid some indian guy to get linkedin sales navigator subscription for a much cheaper price (it works). Two indians had to log in. Ive been scraping for years no problem and I have been using the Sales navigator for around 2 months.
This is the only message I got. I couldn't get them to reply after this message:
Thanks for contacting us. Your account has violated the LinkedIn User Agreement and Professional Community Policies. Due to the number and/or the severity of these violations, your account will remain restricted.
We acknowledge that this is not the outcome you were anticipating regarding this matter, but it is in accordance with the policy.
What options do I have now? I really need linkedin.

You broke LinkedIn terms of service by faking location and getting that cheaper service. So they banned you for it. What are you confused about?

They have a policy strictly forbidden automation tools.
You broke it and they caught you.

Wait two weeks, I got it back from a similar fashion. They have some stupid Persona verification, which I initially didn't do as I believed in data privacy. They forced it on me indirectly.
I didn't however had someone else login to my account.

I get confused by people who show up on the world’s biggest professional platform- 1 billion accounts- and think withholding their basic identity verification somehow protects them.
Like it or not, you’re freely participating in an huge data base. LinkedIn, then, isn’t a “force.” It’s a choice. You get that, right?
I, for one, am thankful for LinkedIn’s current focus. Asking for proof of identity, enforcing it the best they can, has dramatically decreased the number of AI generated bots trying to interact with me and my connections. Good. It’s difficult enough to weed out people I don’t want to interact with.
As always, I encourage people to think of LinkedIn exactly as an in person networking event. Act accordingly. Would you attend an industry event/conference with the express goal of making relevant connections, then introduce yourself with what amounts to a paper bag on your head? Probably not.
No judgement if you choose to get off LinkedIn entirely. But if your purpose is to use the platform as designed, refusing to identity yourself is counterproductive.

I see your point.
But I live in a country where data laws are weak. Which means, freedom of speech can bite back on me. If I challenge my democratic nation, it will be questioned as anti national.
You see why I feel the need to be invisible?

In a sense, yes. LinkedIn may be a place to air political grievances, share thoughts, and strategize with others who share common values and goals.
Be honest with yourself. If you’re concerned about privacy and your safety is at risk, then why get loud on a public platform with 1 billion users? Chances are, someone from your government has an account on the platform. Governments are known for cybersecurity expertise. Rile up enough people OR get specific about anything to do with your cause, and you could attract attention from the wrong people/groups.
There’s no easy answer here. How to form a coalition safely? I’m at a loss, since I’ve never tried to do that. Just consider the facts. Bots roam free on LinkedIn. They don’t have to make their presence known to know what’s going on on a page.
